At the end of each module, each participant will be able to:

  • Recognize two evidence based interventions in the treatment of HIV/AIDS.
  • Discuss two considerations regarding the impact of the Affordable Care Act on persons living with HIV/AIDS.
  • Identify three ways to effectively reduce the risk of perinatal HIV transmission.
  • Describe three culturally competent approaches to improve health outcomes when working with people of color.
  • Recognize two common neurocognitive disorders seen in persons living with HIV/AIDS.
