Clinical Consultation Clinical consultations are provided to physicians, Nurse practitioners and physician assistants on a variety of topics, including antiretroviral therapy, drug interactions and resistance, HIV/AIDS treatment management, post-exposure prophylaxis and women's health. Elizabeth Wanjiru, RN Education Coordinator
Ms. Wanjiru serves in the Education Coordinator role at the Parkland LPS. Her experience in HIV/AIDS includes having been a clinical staff nurse at the Parkland HIV Clinic, as well as holding the role of Clinical Access Coordinator. This role involved getting HIV positive patients linked to medical care. Her non-HIV nursing practice includes experiences in Surgical and Trauma nursing. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Brookhaven/ El Centro College in 2000. Her Baccalaureate & Master of Nursing degrees were from the University of Texas in Arlington, in 2002 and 2009 respectively. She is a member of the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care.

This event is for HIV providers (physicians & mid-levels) pharmacists, & medical case management.
