TM Series – HIV and the Criminal Justice System

The Tuesday morning HIV series is targeted towards educating healthcare providers on how to provide high-quality, evidence-based, comprehensive medical care to patients with HIV/AIDS. It provides education to training physicians (including fellows and residents), medical students, nurses, case managers, social workers, pharmacists, physicians, nurse practitioners, and any other health professionals providing care to those infected with HIV.

Slides sets (and recordings if available) are provided in the library for those who would like to view the presentations once they pass.

Specific Instructions:

For those attending in person, the presentation is held in the first floor auditorium of the Amelia Court Professional Building. Virtual attendance is only available for some of the presentations, and that information will be provided to you upon registration. The annual Parkland Tuesday Morning series aims to increase access to care for HIV patients by educating primary care providers and developing specialists. The series starts with basic concepts of treating HIV patients, including diagnosis and management of opportunistic infections, and expands to more specialized topics focusing on recent research.
