From Diagnosis to Treatment: How to build an HCV Toolkit

The Southeast and South Central AETCs invite you to attend a one day clinical training to increase provider capacity to offer a full range of Hepatitis C services.

This training is designed to help providers build a framework for HCV care, including disease overview and epidemiology, substance use concerns, treatment, monitoring, and pharmacologic considerations, as well as ways to navigate insurance and patient assistance programs.

Topics Include:

  • HCV Overview and Epidemiology
  • Pretreatment Evaluation
  • HCV and Substance AbuseHCV Treatment
  • Management of HIV/HCV Co-infection
  • Drug and Pharmacologic Considerations Navigating Insurance and PAPs
  • Post Therapy Monitoring
